A self-taught researcher with a strong interest in Italian Renaissance painting, I have been conducting independent research for several years on an anonymous Italian Renaissance painting, a Christ Carrying the Cross, with a view to a grounded attribution or proposal. This investigation led to a full study set out in a report.

It then led, in a second stage, to a specific study of the Venice Head of Christ Drawing attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, considered here as the source of the Painting. This part of the research was also developed in a separate report.

Further research was then undertaken on the apostle Thaddaeus in Leonardo’s Last Supper, also in connection with the Venice Drawing. It extends the study of the circulation of the same model within Leonardo’s circle.
